i think amazon has an offer where they give you a $20 coupon for any future game purchases if you buy BC2 from them... i don't know if you could buy an xbox live thingie with that coupon

i think im going to play rush more than anything i just like the whole idea of it i used to play a game called Command and conquer renegade that was smiler but crapy graphics the only difference was that both teams could attack the enemys base

the one nice thing about bfbc2 k/d means shit.

it's like that in all fps games... unless you're playing deathmatch your number one priority is whatever the objective is... not having a good kdr

man i used to love renegade was my favorite fps back in the day

renegade was for pc and i think its still a fun fps game the graphics just suck

is it pre unreal tournament? that game was hellafun on pc... on consoles not so much

as far as unreal... I miss that flak cannon... shotgun/grenade launcher = pure awesomeness

bit of news about the dlc store

1. DLC store will be run through the BC2 Menu

2. It can be accessed through 2 methods

. Purchasing BC2 new and entering the Code found within the packaging on the EA webpage, then obtaining the VIP code through the site.

. Purchasing BC2 as a used product and purchasing the DLC store via 15$ fee (unknown method of payment)

3. DLC will be free FOREVER for those who entered the VIP code.

. DLC will be free of charge as well if 15$ fee method must be used

4. DLC will accumulate over-time as we know of. (no special time constraints. ie: 24 hrs to claim an item)

5. First Day DLC will consist of, but is not limited to, "several new Multiplayer Maps"

6. Content believed to be published in the DLC store

.Weapons
.Specializations....................... (different vehicle or player enhancements found in the SPEC1,2,3 slots)
.Maps
.Attatchments .......................(sights, underside launchers)
.Weapon Camos
.Player Skins...................... (new uniforms, accessories like diff ghillies or hats, diff skin tone)
.New Player Classes ..........(ie: addition to the original 4)
.Gadgets......................... (added items to the Gadget selection)

is this mostly speculation or is there a source for this info? So far the only thing that has been confirmed to my knowledge was that there would be free DLC maps on release day

it's this new thing that EA is trying to try to make up for profit losses when people buy used games as opposed to new games... when people buy used games that's money that the distributor doesn't receive, each new game will come with a code that gives you free access to the DLC, if you buy it used/rent it you will have to pay $15 for this access

If you ask me it's a very smart move on their part.
